Hope IVF and Fertility Specialist

I am an IVF and fertility specialist based in Melbourne. I have been assisting women and couples to start or grow their family for over 15 years. This includes couples struggling with infertility, single women looking to embark on solo parenting, and same-sex couples who require donor sperm, eggs and/or a surrogate to conceive.

I graduated with honours from Melbourne University in 1998 and completed my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2005. During my training, I met many women and couples who were struggling to conceive. I realised how challenging it can be for some women to fall pregnant naturally and how important it is for women and couples to receive the right information and support when they find themselves in this situation. I became passionate about helping women and couples to achieve their dream of having their own family and went on to complete further sub-specialist training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). Less than 100 fertility specialists across Australia and New Zealand have achieved this certification.

As a fertility specialist and experienced infertility laparoscopic surgeon, I offer a wide range of fertility treatments, including ovulation induction, artificial insemination (AI) and in vitro fertilisation (IVF). A thorough fertility assessment of both partners ensures that treatment options address fertility issues arising from the male and/or female. My expertise also extends to management of recurrent miscarriage, genetic testing of embryos (PGT, NICS) as part of the IVF process, assisted conception techniques for single women and same-sex couples, and fertility preservation via egg, sperm or ovarian tissue freezing.

As an owner and also Medical Director of Newlife IVF, I provide these fertility services through our all-new, purpose-built treatment centre based in Box Hill. As one of only a few independent providers of specialist fertility care in Victoria, we pride ourselves on providing the very highest standards of fertility support and care. Our services are supported by a fully accredited, state-of-the-art laboratory and WHO level 5 semen analysis facility, specialist day surgery operated by Epworth Eastern, specialist nursing and counselling services, as well as on-site medication dispensing, ultrasound and pathology.
